Volunteers play an important role in bringing the Seal Cove Auto Museum to life. Whether welcoming visitors, sharing stories about the collection, or helping with special events, volunteers help create memorable experiences and connect people with the history of early motoring.

Volunteer Opportunities

Auto Ambassadors

Welcome visitors and bring history to life.

Help visitors discover the Museum’s collection by answering questions, sharing stories, and creating a welcoming gallery experience. Volunteers receive orientation and training to help them communicate the history of the automobiles and the Museum. Auto Ambassadors may also assist with guided tours and help keep the galleries safe and welcoming.

Front Desk & Gift Shop

Be the first friendly face visitors meet.

Welcome guests, process admissions, introduce visitors to the Museum, and assist with gift shop sales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, staying organized, and helping create a positive experience from the moment visitors arrive.

Programs & Events

Help make special experiences possible.

From Cars & Coffee and car club visits to school field trips and fundraising events, volunteers help bring Museum programs to life. Opportunities may include greeting guests, setting up and cleaning up, guiding visitors, assisting with parking, and supporting activities throughout the event.

On-Call Volunteer

Lend a hand when help is needed.

Available on short notice? Join our on-call volunteer list to help cover unexpected absences or provide extra support when needed. Scheduling varies, and as much advance notice as possible will be provided. No specialized training is required.
